JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – On Friday, veterans and families will gather at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Jacksonville to honor prisoners of war and service members who went missing in action.
It will be on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 6:30 pm at the Vietnam Memorial, Lejeune Memorial Gardens at Montford Point Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540. The event will be open to the public.
The event will be hosted by the Rolling Thunder NC-5 chapter. It will feature the Missing Man Table Ceremony By NC-5 as well as the Walk of the Wall with Flame of Freedom®.
