Local health drink and smoothie shop Storm Healthy Energy is opening an outpost in St. Petersburg soon.
In a social media video shared Monday, Storm co-founder Cole Schaller said it’s a simple build out.
This will be the largest Storm yet, taking over the former Grand Kitchen & Bath at 2600 Fourth St. N. in the Crescent Heights neighborhood. Grand Kitchen & Bath will be moving into the next unit over.
Co-founder and St. Petersburg native Molly Mills said much of the space’s square footage would be used for “storage” and “prepping in the back.”
Mills said the building’s abundance of natural light, a shared parking lot and a walkable area adjacent to Snell Isle and Coffee Pot Bayou made for an ideal fourth locale.
Mills and Schaller founded Storm in their early twenties. The business is in its fifth year. Storm offers a proprietary vitamin complex that contains green tea extract and a plant-based protein blend with pea macronutrient put into each of their drinks and smoothies.
