SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Malia Nummerdor, 38, was arrested in Port Charlotte after her husband found footage of her having sexual contact with the family dog.
On Sept. 16, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office released an arrest report stating that Nummerdor was arrested on Sept.15
Prior to her arrest, her husband, Erik, posted on Facebook on Sept. 11, saying he had security camera footage of Nummerdor engaging in sexual activities with their dog.
On Sept. 14, Erik spoke with deputies where he presented footage and consented to giving the sheriffs full access to his laptop.

Deputies conducted a recorded interview with Nummerdor on Sept. 15 where she acknowledged that she had been with the family dog in the video footage.
The deputies stated that during the interview, Nummerdor was not able to justify her actions from the footage and made false claims.
As the interview continued, Nummerdor stated that she wanted to conclude the interview and requested an attorney.
Shortly after, the interview was discontinued, and the deputies made Nummerdor aware that she would be arrested.
Malia Nummerdor is charged with sexual contact with an animal.
Florida Statute § 828.126(1) defines “‘sexual contact with an animal’ as an act committed between a person and an animal for the purpose of sexual gratification, abuse, or financial gain, involving contact between the sex organ or anus of one and the mouth, sex organ, or anus of the other.”
