At the Sept. 3 Orange Park Town Council meeting, Mayor Winette Sandlin presented a Proclamation to the Sophia Fleming Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution proclaiming Sept. 17-23 as Constitution Week. This marked the 239th anniversary of its drafting. The chapter’s Constitution Week co-chairs, Suzanne Kirklin and Laura Ingle, accepted the honor.
