JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jaguars fans watched in disbelief Sunday night as their team surrendered a 19-point fourth-quarter lead, falling to the Houston Texans 36-29 at a watch party outside EverBank Stadium.
What began as a celebration quickly devolved into scenes of despair as fans witnessed what many called “one of the most unbelievable losses in Jaguar history.”

“We were rooting for you, we were all rooting for you!” one distraught fan shouted as the final seconds ticked away.
The collapse left some fans literally rolling on the ground, while others threw pieces of their Jaguars costumes across the room. The stunning defeat came against a Texans team that entered the game with a 3-5 record.
“We could’ve got a field goal. We didn’t get the field goal, and we let the Texans beat us,” another fan said, struggling to comprehend the loss. “They’re three and five — can you tell us how a three and five Texas beat us?”
The most common criticism from fans centered on the team’s late-game strategy. “They should’ve kept running the ball. We had the lead, run the ball,” one fan exclaimed, expressing frustration with the play-calling.

Despite the devastating loss, the Jacksonville faithful maintain their trademark resilience.
Many fans, though visibly upset, expressed continued support for their team, echoing the “DUUUVAL” battle cry and looking ahead to next week’s matchup against the Chargers.
The Jaguars will look to bounce back next week when they face the Los Angeles Chargers.
