The Baha’i community of Tallahassee invites community members to join a Zoom study circle focusing on how we might achieve world peace.

A letter written by the Universal House of Justice, the international governing council of the Baha’i Faith, to the peoples of the world in 1985 addressing this very subject will be at the center of our study.

“Whether peace is to be reached only after unimaginable horrors,” the Universal House of Justice wrote, “precipitated by humanity’s stubborn clinging to old patterns of behavior, or is to be embraced now by an act of consultative will, is the choice before all who inhabit the earth.”

The letter then explains what individuals, groups, and governments need to do to accomplish world peace.

Two different Zoom study circles will be forming this month. One starts at 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27. The second will begin at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28. Both run 10 weeks and last about two hours per session.

Study Circle participants are limited. To register, contact Linda Strom at pwp1844@gmail.com. To contact the Baha’is of Tallahassee, visit the Facebook site, Baha’i Community of Tallahassee, or email TallahasseeBahais@gmail.com.
