ROBERTS COUNTY, Texas (KVII) — A Miami man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Roberts County on Saturday evening.
According to the Texas Highway Patrol, 31-year-old Lane Austin Smith was riding a 2008 Harley-Davidson Road King west on FM 283 and Quarter Horse Road when he left the roadway, entered a ditch and was ejected from the motorcycle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Texas Highway Patrol.
