TAMPA, Fla. (WWSB) – A fight in Tampa turned deadly Sunday afternoon when one person was shot and killed.
Police responded to the 13-thousand block of River Willow Place shortly after 1:15 p.m. for a reported fight.
When officers arrived, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives are working to confirm the victim’s identity.
Police say the shooter remained at the scene and has been cooperative with investigators.
