DogBeach Resort is an all-inclusive, all-suite luxury retreat designed specifically for fur babies. Co-owner Barney Freedman calls it a full vacation experience for pets. “It is a vacation for your dog. It’s like Disney for your dogs,” Freedman said.
Forget Park Avenue — guests stroll down “Bark Avenue.” The fully themed experience features playful storefronts and amenities like the “Rex Carlton,” “Bichon Surf Shop,” “Furcache” and “Starbarks.”
Florida afternoons can get sweltering, but this entire facility is 100% indoors and climate-controlled. The property includes a full-size indoor swimming pool designed for splashing around without the humidity or summer sun.
Along with an on-site pet spa for grooming, the facility features private VIP suites equipped with chandeliers.
DogBeach Resort has transformed 30,000 square feet of what used to be a Big Lots store along State Road 436 in Casselberry. An adjacent animal hospital is nearing completion to provide comprehensive on-site care.
