Discussion: Team grades are somewhat surprising for some groups. I am surprised we are not lower in Pass Rush and Coverage. The very good tackling grade is not surprising as there is noticeable improvement from last year.

The next to worst pass blocking grade is expected. Miami has managed to regress in that category and is showing. Pass blocking mistakes and penalties transformed what I thought was a good offensive showing in the first half into a rout.

Last Sunday Miami played against what is probably the best team in the NFL. I thought the team fought hard. With time and specially if they manage to fix the OL this team can string some wins together.

Lastly, I disagree that Slovik called a bad game. He is playing with close to the worst talent in the NFL and had the team in the red zone in the first three possessions against a top defense. Yes, he played a dink and dunk offense but it is very difficult to do anything different with this OL and a QB which struggles finding open receivers beyond the primary read.

Respectfully,

Gines Lleonart.
