The incident was reported around 11:30 a.m. Upon arrival, deputies found a woman “who was shot at by a person known to her, but not injured”.
The suspect fled the scene after the shooting.
A witness at the scene says the woman told him her husband was the shooter.
“She was like crying so bad. I was like, you okay? She was like, my husband tried to shoot me. My husband trying to shoot me,” witness Fero Alhajjah told News 6. “I was like, are you fine? You okay now? And she was like, no, I’m not fine.”
Alhajjah said law enforcement moved quickly after speaking with the woman.
News 6 has a crew at the scene.
