Perched on tiled steps near an indoor swimming pool, Graves wears a black bucket hat, a dark t-shirt with gold skull-and-floral patterns over a black undershirt, black mesh fingerless arm sleeves, fitted black leather pants, and black lace-up combat boots. He crouches with his right hand resting on the steps and his left elbow rested on his knee under soft indoor lighting.Aesthetic Perfection Credit: Aesthetic Perfection Press Handout

Festivals, especially those with international artists on the lineup, are really hard to pull off. Absolution Fest organizers don’t seem to care.

The EBM and industrial-electro centric get together has booked American-Austrian outfit Aesthetic Perfection playing an “old-school” set meaning songs released before 2011 when the band took a turn towards pop.

The outfit closes out night three of this annual event, with Berlin-based producer and DJ Zoè Zanias (aka Zanias) topping night two, and Brooklyn-based post-punk band Bootblacks headlining opening festivities.

Tickets to see Absolution Fest at Orpheum in Tampa on Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 1-3 are still available and start at $65.22.
