A high school in South Florida received a surprise delivery from the United States Post Office: a TI-83 Plus calculator borrowed by a class of 2006 graduate and returned 20 years later.
According to a Facebook post from Lincoln Park Academy, the vintage calculator, labeled “LPA 123,” appears to have survived countless math classes, college exams, career changes and at least a few dead batteries during its extended absence.
“To our mystery Class of 2006 graduate: thank you for honoring your commitment… just 20 years later,” the school wrote in the post.

The calculator has officially returned to the kennel, and the school expressed its admiration for the graduate’s memory and dedication to avoiding library fines.
“Welcome home, TI-83. You’ve seen things,” the school added.
