The 5th annual St. Pete Reads! Lit Fest brings youth and families together to celebrate books, stories, literary arts and culture.
Presented by Cultured Books Literacy Foundation, the free festival features Newbery Honor author Carole Boston Weatherford, Caldecott Honor illustrator R. Gregory Christie, musical storytimes with Mary Corbett of The Florida Orchestra and the Al Downing Tampa Bay Jazz Association, literary workshops, art activities, local authors and community resources.
Join us Saturday, Nov. 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Woodson African American Museum of Florida. Advance registration is encouraged, with day-of registration available.
The 2026 festival is supported in part by Creative Pinellas. This arts experience is made possible by a Creative Pinellas grant through Pinellas County arts tourism funding.
