TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – With morning temps dropping into the 60’s, it’s perfect dog walking weather, and that means dog sweater weather is coming soon!
There are dozens of dogs ready and waiting to be adopted at the Tallahassee Animal Service Center right now and these pups would love to welcome fall – and forever- by your side.
WCTV and the Tallahassee Animal Service Center team up each week to spotlight four adoptable dogs and help them find their fur-ever homes faster!
Here are the dogs we are featuring on Furry Friday this week:
MEET BITZBitz is confident and curious – and when he has ears up – you can see what a regal pup he really is!(WCTV)
Meet Bitz!
Or maybe it should be Blitz!
This boy with the shiny white coat loves to run. He was beside himself running the bike trail’s hills and curves in the cool morning air!
Bitz is confident and curious – and when he has ears up – you can see what a regal pup he really is!
Bitz has a soft side too, a soft mouth and a strong sit with treats and TLC on the line!

MEET SASHASasha is looking for an active, affectionate family who is ready to seize the day right alongside her!(WCTV)
Meet Sasha!
This petite pup has exquisite ears that look like the doggie equivalent of bows in her hair.
But Sasha is no shrinking violet.
The terrier mix is oh so smart and oh so busy.
She’s quick, curious and ready to explore all the world’s sights, sounds and smells.
Sasha will break for treats, but seems happiest on the go and is known to get an occasional case of the zoomies!
Sasha is looking for an active, affectionate family who is ready to seize the day right alongside her!
Please visit Sasha at the shelter this weekend.
MEET ASIAGOThis Chow Chow mix would like to leave the shelter in the rear view mirror ASAP and settle into a life of love and leisure.(WCTV)
Meet Asiago!
This little lady has plenty of pep in her step but the eight-year-old is looking for someone to properly pamper her and snuggle up to watch a Hallmark movie.
Asiago came in as a stray but someone clearly loved her and taught her to mind her puppy manners.
Sasha walks effortlessly on a leash and sits and waits patiently for treat after treat.
This Chow Chow mix would like to leave the shelter in the rear view mirror ASAP and settle into a life of love and leisure.
Please visit Asiago at the shelter this weekend!
MEET SANDRASandra has lots of love and lots of energy and an ever present smile on her face! (WCTV)
Meet Sandra!
This girl’s beautiful coat is somewhere between brown and gray and she’s got the eyes to match!
Sandra is a real people person with a big smile, lots of love and lots of energy.
Sandra loves to run. She’s always right in stride and always looking over her shoulder to make sure you’re having as much fun as she is!
Sandra would love to romp and play with you and she may be the perfect beach baby – running circles in the sand and stretching out with a smile on her face!
She is hoping to find an active, affectionate family that will make that smile even bigger!
Please visit Sandra at the shelter this weekend!
