TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. — A man was seriously hurt after getting pinned under a dump truck in a pedestrian crash in Temple Terrace.
The crash happened around 10:15 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of N 56th Street and S Riverhills Drive.
Officers responded to the scene and found a man pinned underneath a dump truck in the northbound lanes of N 56th Street.
The Temple Terrace Fire Department successfully freed the man. He was transported to Tampa General Hospital by helicopter due to the severity of his injuries. He remains hospitalized as of Friday.
Police are working to identify the man as the investigation into the crash continues.
