There’s a new hidden bar on Miami Beach. Bar Shishi opened September 19 inside RIVANI, the new luxury development at 1691 Michigan Avenue — a 12-seat Japanese-inspired cocktail bar from the h.wood Group, tucked away on the third floor.

The bar program is built around Japanese precision. Certified Japanese Ice Master Kevin Lee leads it, with technique-driven cocktails and a food menu running hamachi crudo, the Lion Crunch Roll, chicken karaage, A5 wagyu katsu, and caviar.

The vibe is vinyl. Eddie McDonald curated 100+ records spanning deep house, funk, soul, disco, and Latin, spinning in an intimate room that feels more listening bar than nightclub.
