ORLANDO, Fla. — A moving and informative documentary aired in The City Beautiful during the UrbanFest 360 Film Festival.

Spectrum News 13 evening anchor Tammie Fields moderated the conversation with those behind the film, “Love Patrick, Nothing is Impossible.”

The documentary follows the life and legacy of Patrick Kelly, who became the first American fashion designer to be admitted into France’s highly rigorous and universally acclaimed fashion governing body, the Chambre Syndicale du Prêt-à-Porter, and how through his skills as a designer he helped reshape the world of fashion.

It was all part of this year’s three-day star-studded film festival being held at Afro TV Studios on International Drive in Orlando. The festival was a celebration of diversity through film, music and art that included an award ceremony honoring the life and legacy of actor Chadwick Boseman.

Boseman was known for his role as the Marvel superhero Black Panther, who suddenly passed away in 2020 due to colon cancer. Boseman was the first recipient of the Val and Jerry Demings Legacy Award. His brothers accepted the award in his honor.

UrbanFest 360 was sponsored by Orange County, with the festival being funded through the county’s new film incentive program that went into effect last fall after the state program ended in 2016.

The county’s film incentive is aimed at bringing directors and producers to Central Florida with tax breaks, funding help, and even local casting calls.
