Truck rollover spills cement in Fort Pierce, blocks all lanes on Orange Avenue

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — A truck carrying cement rolled over Saturday on Orange Avenue in Fort Pierce, spilling its load across the road and blocking all lanes, according to deputies.

The crash happened in the 21000 block of Orange Avenue.

The driver was taken to Lawnwood Regional Medical Center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

Orange Avenue is currently closed in the area as crews work to clear the road.

Drivers are being detoured onto C-24 Canal Road and Sneed Road and are asked to avoid the area if possible.
