PORT ST. LUCIE ── The Treasure Coast Theatre is the perfect place for “The Perfect Murder.”

The classic thriller, written by American playwright Mike Johnson, has all the twists and turns you’d expect from a whodunit, and some devastating surprises, too.

The story unfolds as attorney Nicodemus Braddock, engaged to the niece of a prominent criminal court judge, discovers that his future uncle-in-law has unearthed evidence about the way he conducts his career. The offenses could result in disbarment.

Braddock conspires with his butler to steal the evidence and murder the judge ── a plot twist worthy of Agatha Christie.

“The Perfect Murder” will keep audiences in suspense until the end.

The cast features Shane O’Neil, Mark Nixon, Nicolas Pollio, Annette Reimers, Maryam Robinson, Adrianne Chavarria and Douglas Wiess. Sean Birkett is the director.

“The Perfect Murder” runs weekends, Oct. 9 –18. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. matinees are on Saturdays and Sundays.
