The Community House (TCH) on Sanibel is set to kick off a seasonal series — and the holidays.
It will host a Holiday Bonanza Arts and Crafts Fair on Nov. 15 from noon to 5 p.m. and Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Taking place monthly through April, the events will feature area artisans and crafters.
“We host them to support local artists and crafts people,” TCH Executive Director Emily Ankerson said. “Another reason is to have something going on, so it’s adding to the attraction of the island.”
They are holding the November fair over two days this year because it is usually the most popular one.
“We decided it would be a nice kickoff to the holiday season,” she said.
There will be over 30 vendors participating, with most from the Fort Myers area.
“There are people who are island connected,” Ankerson added.
They will offer up a range of items, including jewelry, ornaments, artwork, greeting cards and more.
“We try to make sure that we have a variety of vendors. Handmade items all the way up to fine art items,” she said. “There will be holiday themed items, but also art exhibition type items.”
“Our Shellcrafters will also be featured as one of the vendors,” Ankerson added.
Food trucks Taco Empire, That BBQ Place and Papa D’s Cheesecake will also be on site.
R.L.R. Investments is the season sponsor for TCH.
“We appreciate their generosity in choosing to sponsor us for the season,” she said. “It helps make all of our programs possible.”
The rest of the fairs for the 2025-26 season will take place on:

– March 22
– April 12
Admission and parking are free.
The community is invited to swing by and see what there is.
“It’ll be a fun event,” Ankerson said. “Come out and get a head start on some holiday shopping and at the same time support local arts and crafts people.”
