Central Florida native joins Netflix’s reboot of “A Different World”
Aysia Moorer, an actress from Eatonville, plays Officer Boo Boo in Netflix’s reboot of the iconic series “A Different World,” joining a beloved, multigenerational cast.
Netflix’s reboot of A Different World became the number one series on the platform’s U.S. top ten list, introducing a new generation to Hillman College.
Aysia Moorer, an actress born in historic Eatonville, is part of the cast, bringing a little Central Florida flair to the revival of the 1980s and 1990s hit spin-off.
Moorer plays “Officer Boo Boo,” a campus security guard who keeps Hillman’s students safe, in line, and (mostly) out of trouble.
