Deputies respond to scenes at North Fort Myers home, Lee County animal hospital

Carson ZornLEE COUNTY, Fla. —

Lee County deputies responded to two separate scenes early Monday morning, one in North Fort Myers and another at an animal hospital on Daniels Parkway.

The scene in North Fort Myers, located in the Island Vista Estates neighborhood on Eland Drive, has mostly cleared, but two deputies remain on-site as of 5 a.m.

Earlier in the morning, multiple deputies surrounded a home in the neighborhood. Drone footage showed crime scene tape behind the house, deputies searching the area with flashlights, an ambulance leaving the scene, and a tow truck removing a gray sedan.

Flight tracking data indicated that a Lee County Sheriff’s Office helicopter landed on US-41 near the neighborhood before flying to the BluePearl Pet Hospital. At the hospital, at least two dozen deputies were seen surrounding the building. Shortly after, they left in a line with their lights on.

Gulf Coast News has reached out to LCSO to learn more about the nature of the two scenes.
