A deadly crash has shut down lanes of I-95 North in Martin County.
The crash occurred at around 3:40 a.m. Monday at mile marker 91, involving a Honda Civic and a Hino box truck.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), both vehicles were traveling northbound when the Honda Civic collided with the rear of the box truck in the outside lane. The impact caused the Honda to become fully engulfed in flames.
The Honda driver was pronounced deceased on scene and the driver of the box truck was not injured in the crash. FHP has not identified the deceased driver.
All northbound lanes of I-95 remain closed for the ongoing investigation. Northbound traffic is being diverted to Indiantown Road in Jupiter.
