A man is facing charges after a woman found him underneath her bed in a hotel room in Doral earlier this month, police said.
Ritchel Calvaire, 25, was arrested Sept. 10 and charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling and resisting an officer without violence after police said he spent the night underneath the victim’s bed at Provident Doral.
The victim told police that she woke up at around 4 a.m. after feeling movement near the bed and then fell back asleep.
According to an arrest report, the victim felt movement once again at 6:30 a.m. Over an hour later, she looked under the bed and saw Calvaire.
He had jumped over a balcony fence and entered through the rear glass sliding door while the victims were asleep, police said.
Calvaire was previously a guest at the hotel just a few days before and was told not to return, property management told police.
