Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom‘s split just got messier. Days after Perry confirmed her relationship with her new romance, Justin Trudeau, Bloom attended a Halloween party where he posed for a photo with another woman who dissed his ex-fiancee.
The photo, which was shared on actress Rachel Lynn Matthews’ Instagram Stories, showed her and Bloom together on Halloween. While Bloom dressed as a skeleton for the holiday, Matthews wore a blue body suit and black wig reminiscent of the look Perry donned for her 11-minute Blue Origin mission to space earlier in 2024. In another photo obtained by TMZ, Matthews also mocked Perry’s headline-making photo of her kissing the ground following her return to Earth. “Take up space!” Matthews captioned the picture.

Bloom’s photo with Matthews came less than a week after Perry and Trudeau, who had been linked since July 2025, confirmed their relationship after they were photographed holding hands following an event together in Paris, France. News of Bloom’s diss toward Perry also comes after #ShuterScoop reported that Perry and Bloom were in “therapy” to work on their relationship just weeks before she went public with her relationship with Trudeau. “They were still in therapy — then she’s in Paris with Trudeau weeks later,” the insider said.

The source also claimed that Perry’s new song “Bandaids,” which is believed to be about her breakup with Bloom, “hit a nerve” with the actor. “He protected her image,” the insider said. “Now she’s using heartbreak as PR. Orlando’s done being her muse.”
The source also hit back at Perry’s song—in which she seemingly accused Bloom of “letting [her] down” and not wanting to “change”—by alleging that Perry was the issue in their relationship. “She’s painting him as cold, but she needed nonstop attention,” the source said, calling Perry “needy” and “manipulative.” “Orlando bent over backwards, but it was never enough.”
The insider continued, “She wanted constant reassurance — texts, calls, love notes. When he couldn’t deliver, she took it as rejection.”
Perry and Bloom started dating in early 2016 after meeting at a Golden Globes afterparty. They got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019 and welcomed their first and only child together, a daughter named Daisy Dove Bloom, in 2020. News broke of their split in June 2025. “Katy has every intention of maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with Orlando,” a source told People at the time. “He’s the father of their daughter, and that will always come first for her.”
The insider continued, “They’ve been through a lot together, and while they’ve decided to go their separate ways, there’s still a mutual respect between them. They’re still very much in touch and co-parenting Daisy together. For the sake of their daughter, they’re committed to keeping things amicable.”
