Thousands of Tampa Bay residents will be channeling Forrest Gump this weekend, with runners of various levels and species taking over the streets of downtown St. Pete.

St. Pete Run Fest features a half-marathon, 10K, 5K, and special challenges, along with kids’ fun runs and a half-mile dog walk/run.

Grab goodies at the expo at Albert Whitted Park, watch mascots race on Saturday, and save a little energy for Sunday’s L.O.U.D. finish line dance party.

Registration starts at $17.23 for St. Pete Run Fest, happening Friday-Sunday, Nov. 14-16 in St. Petersburg.
