All 18 Flock cameras in Port St. Lucie are being removed by the end of the day.
The City Council voted this week to make that happen as the city puts a pause on its automated license plate reader program.
The vendor that installed the AI-enabled cameras will be the ones to take them down for now.
Several residents are urging council members to permanently remove the cameras from city streets and prohibit future permits for Flock and other similar technology.
