‘Brayden has built an impressive amount of experience across Florida’s legislative and political process early in his career.’

The Florida Airports Council has named Brayden Harrell as its new Legislative and Political Affairs Director.

Harrell, a former Florida House aide, joins FAC from the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, where he served as manager of legislative and political affairs. His work there included legislative advocacy, candidate outreach and support for the Florida CPA/PAC.

“Brayden has built an impressive amount of experience across Florida’s legislative and political process early in his career,” said FAC President and CEO Tiffany Wilson King.

“He understands the Capitol, association advocacy and the importance of building strong relationships. He will be an important part of FAC’s continued efforts to strengthen the voice of Florida’s airports in Tallahassee and Washington.”

In his new position, Harrell will work with Florida’s public airports, policymakers and industry groups on issues affecting the state’s aviation system.

“Florida’s airports touch nearly every major issue facing our state — from infrastructure and economic development to tourism, workforce, emergency response and emerging technology,” Harrell said.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to join FAC and work with its members to make sure Florida’s airports have a strong voice in Tallahassee and Washington.”

Harrell, a double FSU alum and 2024 INFLUENCE Magazine “Rising Star,” began his political career during the 2022 election cycle working on Marco Rubio’s U.S. Senate campaign, rising the ranks from intern to regional representative and helping coordinate field operations in North Florida. Harrell also managed a state House campaign that cycle.
