Rain returns to Central Florida over next several days | What to expect each day

Dacia JohnsonORLANDO, Fla. —

Rain, and possibly a lot of it, is returning to Central Florida after several dry days.

First Warning Chief Meteorologist Tony Mainolfi says showers and storms move in on Thursday and will linger through the middle of next week.

Rainfall totals with many of the models are in the 3-inch range through that stretch.

“We do need the rain but will have to watch for any flooding potential,” Mainolfi says.
