NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. (WINK) — A man was arrested on Wednesday at a truck stop after the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said he filmed people in a bathroom stall.
Deputies responded to a truck stop on Park 78 Drive after reports of a suspect filming over bathroom stalls in the men’s room. LCSO made contact with the suspect, David Floyd, in the parking lot.
Through investigative techniques, deputies said they located a video on Floyd’s phone showing him fully naked while sitting inside a restroom stall. In the video, Floyd allegedly held his phone under and over the stall partition, recording an individual in the neighboring stall.
Deputies said they also discovered several other videos on Floyd’s phone depicting similar content. Deputies then detained Floyd.
LCSO said Floyd was in possession of methamphetamine, sex toys, a mask with holes cut into it and a glass pipe.
Floyd was charged with digital voyeurism, possession of a controlled substance and tampering with evidence.
