FORT PIERCE – An electric scooter operator died after experiencing a medical emergency in the 400 block of Seaway Drive in Fort Pierce on Sept. 29, according to Fort Pierce Police eports.
St. Lucie County Fire-Rescue responded to the scene at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night and transported the E-scooter operator to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce, according to police reports. He was later pronounced dead.
Preliminary investigation found no evidence that any other vehicle was involved in the accident, according to police reports.
Fort Pierce Police did not receive the initial call from the area at the time of the accident but was notified by Lawnwood on Sept. 30, according to reports.
The name of the man, his age and place of residence was not available.
