TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A Tampa death investigation has been reclassified to a homicide, according to the Tampa Police Department.
TPD said that on Sept. 22, officers responded to a shooting on Nebraska Avenue near McEwen Avenue, where they found a man who appeared to be in his early sixties suffering from a gunshot wound.
Officers said they immediately provided life-saving care before Tampa Fire Rescue transported him to a local hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries days later.
Investigators released video of the suspect on Thursday, in hopes that someone will be able to identify him.
