JetBlue has launched a new daily nonstop route between Fort Lauderdale and Barranquilla, expanding its rapidly growing network between South Florida and Colombia.

The first flight operated on October 1 between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport.

To mark the launch, JetBlue is offering selected one-way fares from $134 in its Main cabin and from $234 in EvenMore.

JetBlue Builds Larger Colombia Network

Barranquilla becomes JetBlue’s third current Colombian destination alongside Medellín and Cartagena.

The airline will expand again later in October when daily Fort Lauderdale-Cali service begins, taking its Colombian network to four destinations.

The new Barranquilla flight departs Fort Lauderdale at 11:05 a.m. and reaches Colombia at 12:55 p.m. The return leaves Barranquilla at 2:05 p.m. and arrives in Florida at 5:56 p.m.

Fort Lauderdale Becomes an Even Bigger JetBlue Hub

The Colombia launch forms part of a much broader JetBlue expansion in Fort Lauderdale, where the airline has been adding both domestic and international destinations.

JetBlue expects to operate one of the largest schedules in its history from South Florida, using Fort Lauderdale as an important gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean.

Barranquilla also gives Florida travelers direct access to Colombia’s Caribbean coast and one of the country’s largest cities without connecting through Bogotá.
