MADEIRA BEACH — The Gulf Beaches Public Library has released its latest schedule of events.
• Writers Group: Mondays, 10 a.m.-noon
• Library App Help: Wednesdays, 2-3 p.m. For help with Libby, Kanopy, and Hoopla.
• Mahjong: Thursdays, 11 a.m. Old and new members welcome.
• Investment Club: Thursdays, 2:30-4 p.m.
• Meditation: Fridays, 11 a.m.-noon. Relax and rejuvenate at the end of the week.
• Scrabble: Fridays, 1-4 p.m.
• Storytime: Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. ages 2 and younger; Fridays at 10:30 a.m. ages 2-4.
• Book Club: Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 10:30 a.m. Daring to Drive by Manal Al-Sharif.
• Adult Art Class: Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 5-7:30 p.m. Watercolor class with artist Deb Barnard. All materials will be provided. Registration required.

ST. PETE BEACH — The St. Pete Beach Public Library has released its latest schedule of events.
• Monday, Oct. 20, 11 a.m.-noon — Tech Help: Get help with technology basics for phones, computers, and library-related applications. Monday Tech help is on a walk-in only basis.
• Monday, Oct. 20, 3 p.m. — Tea at Three: Enjoy tea and light refreshments while watching a feature film. See spblibrary.com for movie details.
• Tuesdays, 10 a.m. – Story Time: This lively story time is perfect for children ages 5 and younger and their caregivers. Explore stories, songs and movement that build early literacy skills and support motor development.
• Tuesday, Oct.21, 5-5:45 p.m. — District 2 Commissioner’s Open Office: Ask questions and discuss concerns with District 2 Commissioner Lisa Robinson.
• Wednesday, Oct. 22, 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. — SHINE: One-on-one Medicare counseling (by appointment only). SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) is a free program offered by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco & Pinellas. Specially trained volunteers can assist with Medicare and health insurance questions by providing free one-on-one counseling and information. SHINE services are free, unbiased, and confidential. Call 727-363-9238 or register at the Circulation Desk for a Medicare counseling session for help during the open enrollment process. By appointment only.
• Wednesday, Oct. 22, 3:30-4:30 p.m. — Mini Pumpkin Decorating: Decorate a mini pumpkin using a variety of crafting materials provided by the library. One pumpkin per family while supplies last.
• Thursday, Oct. 23, 10 a.m. — Inclusive Art Hour with Creative Clay: Creative Clay’s mission is to help people with disabilities achieve full and inclusive lives by providing expressive, educational and vocational experiences in the arts. Make art at the library alongside teaching and member artists from Creative Clay. All materials are provided.
• Friday, Oct. 24, 11 a.m. — Death’s Decorum presented by Elizabeth Britt: We take for granted the process of burial in the U.S., but it wasn’t always so organized. In the history of mankind, burials are ancient, but cemeteries are relatively new. We will look at how diseases, epidemics and especially the Civil War all influenced the establishment of cemeteries and the regulation of death.
• Friday, Oct. 24, 2 p.m. — Tour the Library’s Digital Collection. Learn how to access eBooks, audio books, research databases, stream media, and more, all from the comfort of your own device. This program is perfect for new users or anyone curious about what’s available digitally through the library.
• Saturday, Oct. 25, 11 a.m. — Witching Hour Special Feature: Movie & Craft: Enjoy a spooky morning featuring a classic Halloween movie, delicious themed snacks, and crafty activities to bring out your inner magic. Free and fun for all ages — come dressed in your favorite Halloween costume or Sanderson-inspired look.
• Saturdays, 2-4 p.m. — Tech Help Saturdays: Get help with technology basics for phones, computers, and library-related applications. (We do not make repairs). For our Saturday Tech Help we offer walk-ins or you can sign up for a 30 minute appointment here: https://calendly.com/stpbeachlibrary/30min or call 727-363-9238. Please note, because this program will be occurring after our regular library hours, all other library services will be suspended during this time.
