STUART ── A weekend stroll through downtown Stuart will be a lot more artistic this weekend.
The 27th annual Downtown Stuart Craft Festival will host more than 100 exhibitors along Osceola Street from 10 a.m. to 5p.m., Oct. 10 and 11.
The free festival is operated by Howard Alan Events, one of the most widely and highly recognized art fair promoters in the industry. Alan runs more than 80 juried art and craft shows annually, including locations like Aspen, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh.
The city’s free trams will be operating all weekend. Hop on one of the electric trams at the public parking areas and they will drop you off downtown. Service runs seven days a week, with frequent stops. Download the free ‘City of Stuart Tram’ app from the Apple App Store or Google Play to view live arrival times and route maps.
