A man was found dead in West Park after being struck by a car late Friday. Deputies are investigating whether it was a hit-and-run.

A man was found dead on a Broward County roadway late Friday night, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
Shortly after 11 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to reports of a man lying injured in the road in the area of Southwest 23rd Street and Southwest 56th Avenue in West Park.
Deputies said the man had been struck by a car and was pronounced dead at the scene. Traffic homicide detectives are investigating his death and say it’s unclear whether the crash was a hit-and-run.
