On Oct. 3, the “Enchanted Forest” themed homecoming dance came alive as Leon High School students packed the “Lion’s Den” gymnasium, capping off a week of school spirit and a dominant athletic victory.
Arriving dressed to impress, students traded compliments and shared the latest gossip before stepping into the venue which featured themed treats, tunes provided by Tallahassee’s DJ Lil Boy and a bright red dance floor.
The festive atmosphere followed a big success on the field Oct. 2 when the Leon Lions football team defeated Port St. Joe 49-7, advancing their record to 6-0 this season.
This year the Tallahassee Democrat will be giving local high school students the red carpet treatment during homecoming. Check back for more photos from other schools at tallahassee.com.
