Jackson County clerk will hold pre-election town hall in Jacksonville

Jackson County Clerk Chris Walker will hold a pre-election town hall in Jacksonville during the middle of October.
Ballots for the Nov. 3 general election will be mailed out to registered Jackson County voters on Wednesday, Oct. 14. New voters must register by Oct. 13.
Walker will speak in the Naversen Room of the Jacksonville branch library, 340 W. C St., from 6 to 7 p.m. Oct. 14. She plans to discuss election administration and ballot-processing details, according to Jacksonville democracy Project (JVdP), which is hosting the event.
The town hall is nonpartisan and open to all.
