CLEMSON, S.C.

The Miami Hurricanes’ perfect run to start the season continued with a 41-13 win at the Clemson Tigers on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

And that has them staying inside the top 5 of the AP top 25 poll.

Miami checked in at No. 4 in the latest poll, released Sunday afternoon, holding pat from last week. UM has stayed between Nos. 4 and 7 all season.

The Hurricanes (5-0, 3-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) are one of 13 power conference teams (including independent Notre Dame) still undefeated through the first five weeks of the season.

Against Clemson, Miami jumped out to a 17-6 halftime lead, used a pair of long, timely drives in the second half to add to the lead and had the defense take care of the rest.

The top five overall remained unchanged, with Texas at No. 1, Georgia No. 2, Notre Dame No. 3, Miami No. 4 and Ohio State No. 5.

Alabama, Indiana, BYU, Ole Miss and LSU round out the top 10.

Miami is one of three ACC teams in the top 25, along with No. 24 SMU and No. 25 Pittsburgh.

Miami is idle this week before hosting the Florida State Seminoles on Oct. 17 at Hard Rock Stadium.
