Rollover crash on Burnt Store Road sends one to hospital as trauma alert | Charlotte County

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — A crash on Burnt Store Road sent one person to the hospital Sunday morning.

Just after 8:00 a.m., Engine 7 and Battalion 32 responded to a rollover crash at the intersection of Burnt Store Road and Sand Road.

Firefighters had to work to free the person trapped inside the vehicle before they could receive medical care.

LeeFlight then transported the person to the hospital as a trauma alert.

The road was temporarily shut down but has since reopened.
