  • October 5, 2026

A wetter pattern is settling in for the start of the week, with rain chances staying high through at least Tuesday. Today, expect showers and storms to increase, especially after 2 p.m. Highs will stay near 80 with a light north wind. Rain coverage looks widespread, with around a quarter to half inch of rainfall possible.

Showers and storms continue tonight, with another round likely late overnight into early Tuesday. Temperatures will hold steady in the mid 70s, so it stays muggy and damp. Tuesday looks rainy again with showers and a few storms likely through the day. Highs will be a little cooler, near 77, with northeast winds increasing 8 to 14 mph and gusts up to 23 mph.

By Tuesday night into Wednesday, winds become more of a factor. Showers and storms remain likely Tuesday night, and it will turn breezy with northeast gusts near 25 mph. Wednesday stays mostly cloudy with scattered showers, especially into the afternoon, and it will be windy at times.

Rain chances briefly lower Wednesday night into Thursday, but we are not totally dry. A few showers remain possible, especially Thursday afternoon and again late Thursday night. Highs stay near 80 to 81.

By Friday and into the weekend, rain chances climb again. Expect mostly cloudy skies, breezy conditions, and periods of showers and storms Friday through Sunday. Highs remain in the low 80s with lows in the lower 70s.
