Wet weather pattern across Central Florida this week

Cam TranORLANDO, Fla. —

Central Florida is in for a wet weather pattern this week as a low-pressure system develops along a stalled frontal boundary.

The system will bring increased moisture to the region, leading to higher rain chances and cloudy skies through the end of the week.

The low-pressure system is expected to move from the Gulf of Mexico to Florida’s Atlantic coast. As it moves across the state, coastal conditions are expected to become rougher by midweek.

Beachgoers should be prepared for rough surf and an increased risk of rip currents along the Atlantic coast.
