October 5, 2026 – The Pinellas County School Board will hold additional community meetings this week to discuss proposed school closures. Meetings are scheduled at Blanton and Pinellas Park elementary schools, Tuesday at 6 p.m.; at Bear Creek and Kings Highway elementary schools, Wednesday at 6 p.m.; at Lealman Innovation, Thursday at 3 p.m. Meetings will be held in each school’s cafeteria. The school board is scheduled to hold a final vote on school closures Oct. 13.
