JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – William Raines High School will be the ultimate winner of a bet set between Jacksonville native and comedian Lil Duval and former Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson.
The two friends placed a $5,000 wager ahead of Sunday’s Jaguars-Bengals game in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Of course, Duval placed his coins on the Jags, and Johnson backed the Bengals in full force.

Johnson initially made the wager a “light $2K,” but after a little innocent taunting on X, Johnson confidently raised the stakes to $5,000.
“Make it $5,000 since you think y’all going to win the game. That’s how much I believe,” Johnson said.
Johnson predicted the Bengals would win 32-17, but the Jags took home the W, winning 22-17. Duval celebrated the win, posting a video hitting the whoop with local comedian Nod Ross.

Duval also called for his followers to spam Johnson’s account after the win.
“Salute to all the Jaguars fans, I [expletive] love y’all, but I had to root for my team,” Johnson posted.
Johnson eventually sent the money, and Duval said he would donate it to his alma mater’s football team.
“We good. He sent me the money, and this is what I’m gonna do with the money,” Duval said. ” I’m gonna take the money, and I’m going to take it to Raines High School and pay for some football equipment for them.”
On Sunday, after the Bengals’ loss, Johnson came on Shannon’s Sharpe’s YouTube show “Nightcap” dressed in a hospital gown and surgical bonnet and holding a thermometer.
“I got a fever,” Johnson said, looking at the thermometer after he claimed he was hospitalized. “It says 134.”
This isn’t Duval’s first time giving to the school. In December 2024, he offered to pay the difference toward the school’s band $10,000 goal to travel to Miami for the Florida 3A state championship football game.
