CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (WWSB) – Drivers should plan for delays around Elmira Boulevard and Idlewild Street later this week.
Elmira Boulevard between Idlewild Street and Beacon Drive, and Idlewild Street between Elmira Boulevard and Troy Avenue, will be closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 8 and 5-7 a.m. Oct. 9 for stormwater maintenance, Charlotte County officials said.
A marked detour will be in place. Drivers are urged to allow extra travel time and use caution in the work zone.
