SUMTER COUNTY, Fla. —
Southbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike were shut down Tuesday afternoon in Sumter County due to a crash, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
Only the leftmost southbound lane was still blocked as of 6:15 p.m.
The shutdown was in place between Okahumpka and Wildwood, from before mile marker 303 to before mile marker 299, according to FL511.
The crash occurred before 4:45 p.m., FDOT’s FL511 website states.
