ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida remains stuck in a very wet pattern, with more rounds of rain expected through the week before attention turns to Tropical Storm Isaias this weekend.
Wet week
A stalled front will keep showers and embedded storms around through Friday.
Rain chances stay high at 80–90% through Friday. Widespread rainfall totals around 2 inches are expected, with isolated amounts near 4 inches possible.
Clouds and consistent rain should keep temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s.
Isaias becomes the focus
By the weekend, Tropical Storm Isaias becomes the bigger weather story.
Isaias is forecast to move toward the northern Gulf Coast, while southerly winds around the storm pull more tropical moisture into Florida.

That will keep rain chances elevated at 60–80% through the weekend, with breezy and gusty conditions possible, especially Saturday. Beach and boating conditions could also become poor to hazardous.
As Isaias moves away next week, drier air should finally arrive, bringing a much-needed break from the wet pattern by midweek.
