25 years of art, heart, and healing

  • October 7, 2026

Art with a Heart in Healthcare (AWAHIH) is celebrating 25 years of bringing personalized fine art experiences to patients and families throughout Jacksonville. What began with two cousins wheeling a suitcase of art supplies through Wolfson Children’s Hospital has grown to serve pediatric and adult patients across eight healthcare locations, reaching more than 150,000 patients and family members since 2001 through opportunities for choice, connection, expression, and joy. The community is invited to celebrate how far AWAHIH has come and help make the next chapter possible at its 25th Anniversary Gala on Saturday, October 24, from 6:00–10:30 p.m. at WJCT Studios, with proceeds supporting continued and expanded programming throughout Jacksonville. Learn more, purchase tickets, or explore sponsorship opportunities at AWAHIH.org/event or by calling 904-306-0390.
