Parts of Port St. Lucie are drying out after flooding left roads submerged and water levels dangerously high.

Videos and photos sent by viewers highlight the extent of the flooding, including one showing high water on a road in Tradition. Another video captured fish swimming through the flooded streets.

If you plan to head out on the roads today, remember: turn around, don’t drown. Never walk or drive through a flooded road, as the water may be deeper and moving faster than it appears.

Drivers are urged to watch for power lines and debris, such as tree branches, in roadways. Planning ahead and allowing extra time for alternate routes is advised.
